WHO AM I?

My name is Tommy, I am 45 years old and got my PPL-A license in 2001. In total I have about 380 hours of total flight time. The majority of these hours are logged the last 5 years. For me it all started as a personal challenge. I wanted to learn something "out of the ordinary". In the first 15 years it was more like a hobby. I went flying from time to time, just locally in Norway and a couple of times outside the country. But in the last 5 years my passion has grown and an interest of flying/learning has become a big part of my life. I have been flying more often, longer distances and learned to fly other aircrafts. Keeping my skills up to date and becoming a better pilot.

ABOUT THIS PAGE:

My main goal with this page is to share my passion and experience with flying. In addition to my Youtube channel, where I will post videos of short and long trips, I will try to build this page as a "tool" for myself and other pilots. Alot of planning goes into a flight. Some of the information you would need to gather can be found in alot of different places. On this page I will try to put, what I think, is the most basic information. I will also share the tools I learned to use and the knowledge I have achived using them. Hopefully this will help other pilots in choosing the best tool(s) for them or they will find some useful information in other parts of the planning.

LATEST UPDATE

Just decided to take a FI(A) rating.
Currently in the process, just finished the theory course, but due to Covid-19, I am not sure when I will be able to complete the course.

TYPE RATING AND SKILLS

So fare I only hold at SEP-L (Single Engine Piston - Land) sertificate, with night rights.
But I am trained to fly alot of different areoplanes.

The type rating is only limited to a category, but within the category there is a lot of options regarding what kind of aircrafts you can fly.
Some of the planes I fly on a regular basis are listed below.
